Acupuncture

Acupuncture has been used for over 3000 years old with great effectiveness. Acupuncture stimulates certain points in the body in order to promote blood flow and free flow of qi for the body to heal. Endorphins are then released to calm the nervous system and release tension that we carry from our everyday stress.

Electroacupuncture

An electric-stim machine that connects alligator clips onto the acupuncture needles in order to create more stimulation. We use this very frequently in the clinic to expedite the recovery period.

Cupping therapy

Cupping therapy is an ancient form of medicine in which promotes blood flow to the surface of the muscles, reduce pain, increase range of motion, and is a type of deep-tissue massage.

Moxibustion

Moxibustion is a traditional Chinese medicine technique that involves the burning of mugwort, a small, spongy herb, to facilitate healing. The purpose of moxibustion, as with most forms of traditional Chinese medicine, is to strengthen the blood, stimulate the flow of qi, and maintain general health.

Qua Sha

Also known as graston technique. Qua Sha breaks down scar tissue and promote blood flow to the surface. It is often used to increase the immune system during a cold. Qua sha induces sweating causing you to really sweat the cold out of your system. It is also used for any tight muscles that needs to be released.
